Preparing for a
bespoke jewellery consultation
Preparing for your custom jewellery consultation doesn't mean you need to have every detail planned. Whether you have a clear vision or just the beginning of an idea, bringing inspiration such as photos, sketches, Pinterest boards or existing jewellery you love can help us understand your style and create a design that's uniquely yours.
If you're redesigning an existing piece, bring along any jewellery or gemstones you'd like to incorporate into your new design. During your consultation, we'll assess their condition, discuss what's possible and guide you through the best options to preserve both their beauty and sentimental value.
What to bring to your consultation:

Once we have discussed design ideas and budget, we move to one of the most exciting parts of designing custom jewellery -selecting the gemstones and precious metals that will bring your vision to life. Whether you're choosing a natural diamond, lab grown diamond, coloured gemstone or repurposing stones from a treasured piece of jewellery, each decision influences the beauty, durability and character of the finished design.
If you're incorporating your own gemstones, we'll carefully assess their condition, measurements and suitability before designing around them. Mapping out your existing stones early in the design process allows us to create a piece that showcases their unique shape and preserves their sentimental value wherever possible.
Choosing the right precious metal is just as important as selecting your gemstones. Yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and platinum each offer their own unique appearance and benefits, and we'll help you choose the option that best suits your style and lifestyle. from design to creation
cad design & Manufacturing
Once we have discussed your design, budget and the elements that are important to you, we move into the next and final stages - transforming your ideas into a design you can see and refine.
Using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology, we create a detailed 3D model of your piece, allowing you to visualise the design before production begins. This stage gives you the opportunity to review the finer details and make any minor adjustments, ensuring the final piece is exactly what you envisioned.
Once your design has been approved, your piece moves into the manufacturing stage. Our skilled jewellers carefully handcraft each piece in our workshop, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create jewellery that is both beautiful and made to last.
What to expect:
- CAD design allows you to view and refine your piece before manufacturing begins.
- Design approvals and adjustments are completed before your jewellery enters production.
- Manufacturing generally takes approximately 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design, gemstones and materials selected.
collecting
your finished piece
The final step is seeing your custom piece come to life.
Once your jewellery is complete, we welcome you back into our showroom to experience your finished piece for the first time. At this appointment, the remaining balance will be finalised, and we’ll take the time to ensure your jewellery fits perfectly, answer any questions and provide guidance on caring for your piece.
A valuation certificate will also be arranged for your new jewellery and will be available approximately two weeks after collection. This provides you with the documentation needed for insurance purposes and a detailed record of your custom piece.
Your custom jewellery journey doesn’t end when you leave our showroom — it marks the beginning of the memories and moments your piece will be part of.
