initial consultation
Every bespoke jewellery journey begins with a consultation, in person at our Samford studio or online if that's easier for you. Together we'll explore your design ideas, preferred metals and gemstones, your budget, and answer any questions you have along the way. From there, our expert jewellers work up a personalised design and quote based entirely on your vision — with no obligation to go ahead.
deposit & final design
Once you're happy with the quote, a deposit secures your commission and we get started on the design. We translate your ideas into a detailed CAD render, so you can see and approve your bespoke piece before any crafting begins. Once the render has your go-ahead, our jewellers bring it to life. The final payment is then due on collection or shipping.
creation & collection
Our skilled jewellers craft your piece right here in Samford, Brisbane, with the process taking approximately four to six weeks. Throughout this time you're welcome to contact our friendly team with any questions. When your piece is ready, come in and collect your one-of-a-kind creation in person, or let us know if you'd prefer express shipping.

Custom pieces start from $750, beginning in silver, which covers a certain amount of metal and stones. From there, the price depends on your design — the metal you choose, and the diamonds or gemstones you'd like.

Yes — every bespoke piece made by Samford Jewellers comes with an in-house valuation certificate for insurance purposes. So the moment you collect your piece, you have what you need to insure it straight away.
As a guide, bespoke pieces take around 4–6 weeks from design approval to completion, so we recommend getting in touch at least 8 weeks before your date. That gives us time for the fun early stages — consultations, design and choosing your stones — without any rush.
