We generally advise a turnaround time of one week for most jewellery repairs. Some repairs may require additional time if we are waiting on materials such as gemstones or findings to arrive. That said, if you have a tight deadline or need your piece back sooner, simply mention it when you drop it in — our team will always do their best to accommodate you and work to get it done on time. And of course, if your repair is completed sooner than expected, we'll give you a call as soon as it's off the bench. Our jewellery repairs are completed on site in our Samford Village studio, Brisbane.

Yes. We have experience working with antique and heirloom pieces and understand the sentimental value they carry. We'll take the time to assess your piece carefully and discuss the best repair approach with you.

Unfortunately we don't do full watch repairs, we can change batteries and make adjustments to watch bands and minor pin replacements. If you are looking for a recommendation for a watch repairer, have a chat to our friendly team.

Yes, if your ring has become too tight and you are unable to take it off, visit our Samford Village store and one of our friendly team will be able to cut the ring off for you, there is no cost for this service.

Steam Clean
A steam clean uses high-pressure steam to blast away dirt, oils, and residue from hard-to-reach areas like under stone settings and in fine detail work. It's a quick, chemical-free process that restores sparkle and brilliance — particularly effective on diamonds and hard gemstones. Most jewellers can do this in minutes while you wait. We don't charge for this service.

Full Professional Clean & Polish
A full clean and polish goes several steps further. As well as cleaning the piece, a jeweller will use polishing wheels, compounds, and techniques to remove fine scratches, restore the metal's original finish (high polish or matte), and bring the piece back to as close to its original condition as possible. It's a more involved process and may also include checking and tightening claws, inspecting settings, and steam cleaning as a final step. Please refer to the above price list for pricing.
